About the Event
Perhaps the most iconic observational tool of physics, the telescope has today become a sophisticated instrument with many different varieties and levels of complexities. It permeates every level of astronomy, from amateur, to cutting edge deep space observations that have given rise to some of the most celebrated discoveries- expanding universes, black holes, exoplanets and so forth.
In this 3-day masterclass we take an in-depth look at telescopes, and discuss the categories of telescopes, the principles, design and working of these different kinds of telescopes, as well as other interesting facts about them. We also take a look at aspects of astrophotography and some well-known applications and discoveries associated with these telescopes.
Our presenters for this masterclass are Rashmi Sheoran and Divyeshwari Vansadia- specialists at the content design team at Spaceonova. They have years of experience in observational astronomy, and have been involved in teaching programmes for the same too.
